Grandpa Alexis is the reason for the restaurant's existence. He used to live in the beautiful small village "Lysos" with his wife, Theodosia. Currently employed as the head forester of "Akamas" , he create relationships with the majority of tourist visiting the area. Together with his wife they start a small family fish tavern as a part time job which later on, after a lot of sacrifices became the main spot for local tourist called "Periyiali". The couple has 3 children's Thanasis, Eleni and George all of them a significant part of the restaurant's operation and culture. Unfortunately, we lost Grandpa Alexis in 2005 and the activities of the restaurant fall to the hands of the next generation.
Eleni is the family middle child. After a couple of years working at the best restaurants in Germany with his husband George they return to Cyprus. She was employed at the best hotels in Cyprus including "Anabell" and "Anassa" the countries best 5* hotel situated at the latchi area. Finally, she ends up at the families restaurant taking the place of staff manager.
Dinko is our chef from Bulgaria . He is been with us almost 10 years now. Actualy is part of the family now. Without him there will be no control, organisation and quality in the kitchen. It is obvious that restaurant's main focus is their kitchen and we feel happy that Dinko take care of it.
George is the family's younger child. After traveling the world, collecting experiences from the most exotic places, he returns to the restaurant taking the place of managing director until today. In cooperation with his sister Eleni, they strive every day to keep the restaurants standards and culture as high as possible.
Thanasis is the family's elder child. Passionate with the medicine, followed his studies in Germany. Then after giving his services at Thessaloniki's hospitals, he returns to Cyprus were he is currently the head doctor of child department at "Makrion" hospital in Nicosia (capital of Cyprus). Εven he is not working at the restaurant, he remains a big part of the restaurants reputation and culture.
